The NSNU provides education sessions and seminars at the Local, Regional and Provincial levels.  

Local Education Sessions, approximately 1-2 hours in length, must be requested by the Local.

Regional Seminars are conducted by the Union upon direction of the Board.  Topics are chosen by the Board and in the past have included Abuse of Nurses, Occupational Health and Safety, and Health Reform.

Provincial Education Sessions occur at the NSNU’s Annual General Meeting, devoted to an educational program on an issue, or issues, identified by the Board
