Pride 2025

With Pride celebrations taking place all summer, it’s a time for festivities, reflection and advocacy for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.

Participating in Pride is one of the ways that the Nurses’ Union shows our ongoing support for the diversity of our membership. We celebrate our 2SLGBTQIA+ members and the valuable work they do for Nova Scotians each and every day. It is important that 2SLGBTQIA+ nurses are visible and that the profession is considered a safe place for all. It is equally as important that nurses know the Union supports them. The NSNU is a proud sponsor of Pride events taking place across the province.

Pride celebrations are a wonderful opportunity to show support for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and celebrate diversity. We are fortunate to have several Pride events organized across the province.

If you’re looking for a way to get involved in your local Pride festivities, consider volunteering, attending events, or simply showing up to support the cause. By participating in Pride, you can help create a more inclusive and accepting world for all. Whether it’s wearing a rainbow pin or attending a local parade, every little bit helps to spread love and acceptance.
