A Tentative Agreement between the NSNU and the VON employer has been reached. 

The timing of retroactive pay will be addressed by the employers.

We encourage all members to read the Tentative Agreement Highlights (below) and participate in the December 14th Virtual Townhall Session. Invites to that session were sent to VON members via Campaigner e-memo. 

Your bargaining committee appreciates the patience and support you have shown throughout this prolonged process.

Voting will open at 8 PM on Thursday, December 14th, and will close at noon on Monday, December 18th.

VON members can vote online or by telephone, which will be administered by a third-party service provider, Intelivote. Members will receive instructions and voting credentials (PIN) via email directly from Intelivote personnel. 

If you require assistance, please contact the Intelivote voter helpline at 1-888-281-8683 between the hours of 9 AM and 5 PM, including the weekend. 

Your YES/NO vote will be entirely confidential. We encourage members to carefully read the instructions provided by Intelivote before casting their ballot. 

In order for the agreement to be accepted, at least 51% of those who vote must vote in favour of the agreement.
